Childhood Cancer Care
This is a collection of posts about helping a family dealing with childhood cancer. The suggestions in these posts come from our experience when Avery was in treatment for leukemia. After three years of treatment and post-transplant care, Avery is doing very well. Our family survived this experience with the prayers and help of family and friends. We were asked over and over what we needed, and it has actually been easier to see what needs we had in hindsight without the emotion we faced in the midst of the battle.
Each family's experience with childhood cancer will be different, but these posts may help you find a starting place. Never doubt that you're an important part of the fight. Even if you don't know what role you can play, be a prayer warrior!
