Menu Plan 4/22
I'm very ready for a new week and a clean slate.
Last week, in addition to a sick puppy, we had a water pump failure in hubby's vehicle, a brake issue on my vehicle, a track meet an hour's drive away, a child dropped off five miles away from her bus stop for no apparent reason (on a busy highway along with several other students), and subsequent meetings with the school to determine what exactly happened and how it would NEVER happen again. Oh, and we got the garden finished and the landscaping cleaned up.
We're still working our way through the month's dinner plan. I've begun to plan our meals for May as I find sales on components for main dishes.
Breakfast:
Sausage biscuits
Chocolate chip muffins
Cereal
Lunch:
Homemade macaroni and cheese
Tomato soup and grilled cheese
Sandwiches
Leftovers
Dinners:
Chicken gravy and biscuits
Spaghetti with meatballs
Pork carnitas
Hamburgers and hot dogs
Chicken parmesan
I did get to play in the kitchen a little this week, and I'll be sharing some new recipes soon. That is if this week goes a little more smoothly than last week!

Oh my goodness! I hope your bus stop situation gets sorted out pronto. That's why we pray over our children, right. :) Wishing you a quieter and more even keeled week.
ReplyDelete5 miles away? I'd love to hear how that one was justified! Just glad she and the others are safe!
ReplyDeleteThankfully one of the early college students that lives by where the driver dropped them off was on the bus and allowed them to use his phone to call parents. They were all left at the corner of a highway with no sidewalks!
